A Potpourri for Women's Health

A Potpourri for Women's Health

I am excited to announce the start of my newsletter

A Potpourri for Women's Health.

Those familiar with my work and daily life between different continents may ask:

Why this? Why now?

Let me start by saying: I am pushing myself outside my comfort zone while doing what I enjoy most- Helping others by spreading my knowledge. Nutrition will always be my biggest passion, but I wanted to expand my work as a woman and friend to many women.

Especially over the last few years, I noticed an unmet need for understanding and acceptance of women and their physiological differences. Through conversations, I realized even more that women are not small men.

It's an ongoing challenge not to compare myself with my husband, who works out less than I do, yet will always be a faster runner and cyclist than me.

I learned to accept that even though the reproductive organs and hormones may be the most significant differences between men and women- we as women don't work the same way. So our daily struggles (not just in terms of exercise) and health conditions shall not be fixed similarly.

The more I read about it, and talk about the findings, the more I want to learn and share.

The Idea

I will dedicate this newsletter to all women and interested men to help women understand their bodies and behavior patterns better, so they can live healthier and happier lives.
I will summarize interesting (scientific) reads on women’s health and include tips and tricks to make women’s lives healthier. Some newsletters will also include recipes I am excited about.

With this newsletter, I want to change the narrative for women's health by promoting awareness, increasing evidence-based education, and supporting women and everyone interested.

Awareness is essential.

And it starts here with you.
